🌍 Who are we?
Operating across Europe and Asia, WeMaintain specialises in the maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems, combining on-the-ground expertise with technology and data.
Our approach is built on a simple belief: maintenance can be more reliable, transparent and efficient when teams have the right tools, the autonomy to make decisions and clear visibility over the equipment they look after.
Since 2026, Otis has been our majority shareholder. WeMaintain continues to operate independently, maintaining its own organisation and culture while benefiting from additional resources to support our growth.
The way we work is guided by three core values:
Care: treating colleagues and customers with respect, consideration and responsibility
Grit: seeing things through with determination, perseverance and high standards
Uniqueness: embracing different perspectives, fresh ideas and new ways of doing things
Our ambition is to raise the standards of building maintenance, alongside the people who make it happen every day.

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs
Responding to breakdowns and technical issues, ensuring equipment is returned to safe operation
Inspecting, adjusting and replacing mechanical or electrical components in accordance with relevant standards and procedures
Working closely with Operations teams and technical specialists to resolve complex issues and improve equipment reliability
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and communicating clearly with customers about work completed
Depending on the role, opportunities may involve daytime operations, night shifts or other working patterns to accommodate customer and site requirements.
The exact responsibilities, geographical coverage and working arrangements will depend on the opportunity available.
🔧 What makes this role different at WeMaintain?

A collaborative environment: work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists who value knowledge-sharing and mutual support
The opportunity to make an impact: contribute to improving maintenance practices, equipment reliability and the overall customer experience
We value engineers who take pride in their workmanship, approach technical challenges with curiosity and understand the importance of getting things right, especially when it comes to safety.
👑 Who are we looking for?
We'd love to connect with experienced Escalator Engineers who combine strong technical expertise with a proactive, safety-conscious and customer-focused approach.
The essentials
Practical experience in escalator maintenance, troubleshooting or repairs
Relevant engineering qualifications or recognised technical certifications
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
A good understanding of escalator safety requirements and relevant technical standards
