🙌🏼 Who are we looking for? 

As part of WeMaintain's Global Finance Team, you will be responsible for driving and overseeing all global accounting operations. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, streamlining processes, and supporting our global expansion.

📈 What will be your future role?

• Establishing accounting excellence: Define, update, and communicate accounting policies, procedures, and processes. Implement effective methods, workflows, and reports within our accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance across our global operations.
• Leading a global team: Co-manage an international team of accountants and assistants alongside local finance managers in London, Singapore, and Hong Kong. You'll oversee Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable processes, while also supervising external accountants as necessary.
• Managing core accounting functions: Process general accounting entries for WeMaintain SAS and key subsidiaries (France, UK), including equity, debt, bank reconciliations, and inter-company transactions. Supervise the same for other subsidiaries (Singapore, Hong Kong).
• Overseeing payments: Take responsibility for managing supplier payments in France, ensuring timely and precise execution.
• Ensuring VAT compliance: Handle VAT calculation and reporting in France and the UK, while ensuring compliance across other countries.
• Delivering financial reports: Collaborate with the FP&A Manager and local Finance Managers to produce timely, accurate monthly financial reports. You will review trial balances, post accruals, and reconcile balance sheets to guarantee consistency with accounting records.
• Preparing financial statements: Prepare annual financial statements independently or with external firms when necessary, and be the primary contact for financial auditors in France and the UK, while supporting audits in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Germany.
• Consolidating financials: Lead the consolidation of global financial statements starting in 2025, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our international subsidiaries.
• Enhancing accounting processes: Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and organizational structures to support WeMaintain's global growth.
