🌍 Who are we?
Operating across Europe and Asia, WeMaintain specialises in the maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems, combining hands-on technical expertise with technology and data.
Our approach is built on a simple belief: maintenance can be more reliable, transparent and effective when teams have the right tools, the autonomy to make decisions and a clear understanding of what’s happening across the equipment they look after.
Since 2026, Otis has been our majority shareholder. WeMaintain continues to operate independently, retaining its own organisation and culture while benefiting from additional resources to support our growth.
Three core values guide the way we work every day:
Care (looking after others): treating colleagues and customers with respect, consideration and a genuine sense of responsibility.
Grit (determination): seeing things through with high standards, commitment and perseverance.
Uniqueness (being different): embracing different perspectives, fresh ideas and new ways of doing things.
Our ambition is to raise the standards of maintenance, alongside the people who make it happen every day.

We’re looking for a Senior Modernisation Sales Manager to grow our lift modernisation and new installation business across the UK. The role has two sides: developing opportunities within our existing nationwide customer portfolio, and building relationships with new customers such as property managers, building owners and consultants.
Modernisation sales take more than commercial experience. Every building and installation is different, and finding the right solution means understanding both the technical and the commercial side of a project. You’ll own the full commercial journey, from first discussions and site surveys to tenders and contract negotiations, working closely with our Sales, Operations and Project Management teams, who know our customers’ equipment and will deliver the projects you win.
🔎 What you’ll do
Identify modernisation and new installation opportunities across our existing customer base, working with our UK teams.
Prospect and engage property managers, building owners, consultants and other decision-makers to expand our presence in the UK market.
Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, customer meetings, proposals, tenders, negotiation and closing.
Visit sites, survey existing installations, take measurements and identify suitable modernisation or new installation solutions.
Prepare competitive tenders, getting accurate costs from suppliers and building technically sound, commercially viable proposals with internal teams.
Work with Operations and Project Management so that commitments are realistic and projects are handed over smoothly.
Keep your pipeline and forecasts accurate in Salesforce and build action plans to hit your targets.
Stay up to date with industry regulations and the independent lift solutions available on the market.
👑 Who we’re looking for
Someone who combines a strong commercial mindset with the curiosity and technical understanding needed to sell complex solutions, and who takes ownership of projects from first discussion to contract award.
What you’ll need
Proven B2B sales experience in Hard FM, building services or the lift industry, with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets
Experience developing both existing accounts and new prospects, including complex sales cycles, negotiations and tenders
The ability to understand technical requirements and work confidently with engineers, suppliers and project teams
Strong relationship-building skills with property managers, asset owners and consultants
The organisation to manage several opportunities at once, with attention to detail
Experience managing pipeline and forecasts in a CRM
What would make you stand out
Direct experience in lift modernisation or new installation sales
Knowledge of independent lift packages and industry suppliers
Experience of technical site surveys and project costings
An understanding of the UK commercial and residential property markets
Familiarity with Salesforce
💡 What you should know before joining us
Existing customers and new business: you’ll be expected to grow our nationwide portfolio and open new accounts, not just one or the other.
Commercial and technical work: customer meetings, site surveys, tender preparation and internal coordination are all part of the job.
Ownership of your pipeline: you’ll prioritise your own activity and be accountable for your sales objectives.
Regular travel: you’ll visit customer sites and attend meetings across the UK.
This role will particularly suit someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, spotting commercial opportunities and solving technical challenges. It may be less suited to someone looking for a desk-based sales position or pure account management without proactive business development.
🎁 What we offer
A role with a direct impact on the development of our UK modernisation business.
Genuine autonomy in how you manage your sales pipeline, customer relationships and commercial opportunities.
The opportunity to build on an established nationwide customer portfolio while developing new business.
The chance to combine commercial ownership with technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
An international environment with colleagues across Europe and Asia.
Opportunities for professional development and internal mobility.
Base salary: £55,000–£65,000 per year.
On-target earnings (OTE): £85,000–£100,000 per year, including commission.
Hybrid working, with regular customer and site visits across the UK.

✍️ How to apply
We carefully review every application. We’re not necessarily looking for someone who ticks every single box on a job description, and we know that the strongest career paths aren’t always the most conventional.
We also recognise that women, in particular, can be less likely to apply for a position unless they meet every listed requirement. So, if you’re reading this and thinking, “This role sounds like a great fit, but I don’t quite tick every box”, we’d genuinely encourage you to apply anyway. What matters most to us is what you can bring to the role, how you think, how you collaborate with others and the impact you could have at WeMaintain.
We value diversity in backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive working environment. Every application is considered fairly, regardless of background, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, beliefs or personal circumstances.
